On November 19, 2025, Jordan introduced a private member’s bill proposing the repeal of DRIPA, reflecting concerns raised by constituents about land ownership, civil liberties, and the scope of government authority.
The bill did not advance beyond first reading and was voted down at that stage. As a result, it did not proceed further in the legislative process.
This page exists as an archive of the proposed legislation and as a record of the issues it sought to address. While the bill did not move forward, the concerns behind it remain relevant to many residents, particularly in Northern and rural communities.
Jordan remains committed to advocating for transparency, accountability, and the protection of land ownership rights through continued work inside and outside the legislature.
