About Jordan Kealy

Independent. Accountable. Focused on Results.

Jordan Kealy is the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Peace River North, representing the region with a clear focus on practical solutions and strong advocacy for northern British Columbia.

Elected in 2024, Jordan brings a background rooted in local government, agriculture, and community service. His work is guided by a commitment to representing constituents honestly and effectively, and to ensuring that decisions made in Victoria reflect the realities of the North.

Before entering provincial politics, Jordan served as a Director with the Peace River Regional District. In that role, he focused on infrastructure planning, rural service delivery, and responsible resource management—gaining firsthand experience with the challenges facing northern communities and local governments.

Prior to public office, Jordan was well known as a farmer in the Peace River region. He and his wife have been raising cattle in the area since 2008, operating a family-run farm focused on raising grass-fed beef. Their work reflects a commitment to stewardship, sustainability, and the values that define rural northern communities.

Independent Representation

Jordan now serves as an independent MLA, allowing him to advocate freely and speak honestly on behalf of his constituents. Independence means putting people ahead of party interests, evaluating legislation on its merits, and holding government accountable when policies fall short.

As an independent, Jordan is able to:

  • Raise concerns without party constraints

  • Challenge ineffective or harmful policy

  • Work constructively with all sides of the Legislature

  • Focus on practical, common-sense solutions

This approach ensures that the priorities of Peace River North and the broader North remain front and centre.
