As we look ahead to the 2026 legislative year, MLA Jordan Kealy wants to hear directly from the people he represents.
Too often, decisions are made in Victoria without a clear understanding of the realities faced by northern and rural communities. This questionnaire is an opportunity for you to help set priorities, identify urgent problems, and influence the work Jordan takes forward in the BC Legislature.
Your input will directly inform advocacy, policy positions, and legislative efforts in the coming year.
The questionnaire covers the issues that matter most to people in Peace River North, including:
Healthcare
Access to doctors and specialists, emergency services, long-term care, staffing shortages, and rural healthcare delivery.
Infrastructure
Roads, bridges, transportation, public facilities, and critical services that support our communities and economy.
Resource Sector & Agriculture
Forestry, oil and gas, mining, farming, ranching, and the policies that affect jobs, land use, and long-term sustainability.
Economy & Cost of Living
Affordability, taxation, business conditions, workforce challenges, and economic development in the North.
Housing
Availability, affordability, rentals, social housing, and barriers to development in rural communities.
Crime, Public Safety & Drugs
Community safety, repeat offenders, addiction, enforcement, treatment, and impacts on families and businesses.
Education
K-12 education, staffing, class sizes, special needs supports, trades training, and post-secondary access.
Your Ideas for the Legislature
In addition to issue areas, we are also asking:
What bills or legislative changes would you like Jordan to bring forward?
Are there any current or proposed bills you want him to oppose or fight against?
What issues do you feel are being ignored or misunderstood by the provincial government?
Whether your concern is local or province-wide, detailed or simple, your perspective matters.
Jordan Kealy’s role is to represent the people of Peace River North — not party insiders or bureaucrats in Victoria. The more clearly he understands what residents are experiencing on the ground, the more effectively he can advocate on your behalf.
This questionnaire is one of the most direct ways to influence that work.
The questionnaire is open now, and responses will be reviewed and summarized to help guide Jordan’s priorities for 2026.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views and help shape the year ahead.
Stay Informed.
